JESUS
“Who do you say that Jesus is?” This is the most important question in life for us to answer. Jesus Christ is everything we need Him to be but He will only be for us who we say He is. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came to this world that we may have real and eternal life, more and better life than we ever dreamed of. In Jesus Christ we also discover our purpose in life. God has a great plan for our lives in Christ Jesus that he prepared before the foundation of the world, a good life which he made ready for us to live (Ephesians 2:10 AMPLIFIED).
The Bible says in John 3:16 & 17, “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.”
How do we experience salvation and receive eternal life?
God has a gift for every person to receive. It is the gift of salvation that Jesus purchased for us with his own blood. The Bible says that our sins are already forgiven (2 Corinthians 5:19). God is not holding anything against us. Our part is to receive the gift of salvation. Our sins won’t keep us from having a life-changing relationship with God and having the assurance of going to heaven. It is the decision to not receive the gift of forgiveness and salvation that God is offering to everyone. God loves you and God has done everything He can for you to experience life instead of death.
The Bible says that if we believe in our heart that God raised Jesus from the dead and if we confess that Jesus is Lord, we shall be saved (Romans 10:9). At this point we are born again from spiritual death to spiritual life. We receive a new nature with all of the DNA of God in it. The Bible says we become new creatures in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:17). This is a work God’s Word and God’s Spirit does in us. We receive God’s peace and joy.
You can pray this prayer and experience salvation, “Dear God, I believe in my heart that you raised Jesus from the dead and I confess with my mouth that Jesus is my Lord. Thank you for saving me. Thank you for giving me new life in Jesus Christ.”
If you prayed this prayer, please let us know. We invite you to discover with us everything Jesus wants to be in our lives, so we can experience the abundant life He came to give us.
